OPTIMIZATION OF AUTOMATED, MULTIFUNCTIONAL, AND SUSTAINABLE INDUSTRIAL TECHNOLOGIES

TWISTECHNOLOGY is participating in the development of the OPTIMUS project – Optimization of Automated, Multifunctional, and Sustainable Industrial Technologies. The goal of this project is to advance the mission: «Boosting the Spanish industry in the 21st century industrial revolution». The project focuses on the development of disruptive technologies for the industry, aimed at transformation and digitalization to enhance competitiveness, improve resource efficiency, and leverage digital transformation and connectivity.

Key Objectives of OPTIMUS:

• Development of Flexible Automated Manufacturing Processes: These multi-operational processes will handle multi-material/multi-functional parts, with embedded sensors.

• Hybridization of Physical and Digital Environments: Integrating the physical and digital worlds for optimized operations.

• Collaborative Environments: Facilitating collaboration between humans and robots, robots and robots, and humans with machines/production systems, supported by advanced modeling, simulation, and programming of collaborative scenarios.

• Sustainable Industrial Design and Production Technologies: Focusing on eco-design and efficient, safe, and sustainable production practices across the entire supply chain.

This project has been funded by CDTI under the project number MIG-20211010, through the 2021 call for grants under the Science and Innovation Missions procedure. It is part of the Recovery, Transformation, and Resilience Plan (funded by Next Generation EU funds, including the Recovery and Resilience Facility), and the State Program for Catalyzing Innovation and Business Leadership within the State Plan for Scientific, Technical, and Innovation Research 2021-2023.

OPTIMIZACIÓN DE TECNOLOGÍAS INDUSTRIALES AUTOMATIZADAS, MULTIFUNCIONALES Y SOSTENIBLES

TWISTECHNOLOGY participa en el desarrollo del proyecto OPTIMUS – OPTIMIZACIÓN DE TECNOLOGÍAS INDUSTRIALES AUTOMATIZADAS, MULTIFUNCIONALES Y SOSTENIBLES cuyo objetivo es impulsar la misión “Impulsar la industria española en la revolución industrial del siglo XXI”, persiguiendo el desarrollo de tecnologías disruptivas para la industria orientadas a su transformación y digitalización que generen mayor competitividad, una mayor eficiencia de recursos y se apoyen en la transformación digital y la conectividad. OPTIMUS aborda el desarrollo de procesos de fabricación flexibles automatizados (multioperacionales), para procesado de piezas multimaterial/multifuncional y con sensorización embebida; la hibridación entre el entorno físico y el digital; entornos colaborativos entre persona-robot, robot-robot, persona-máquina/sistemas productivos, con modelización, simulación y programación avanzada de escenarios colaborativos; y tecnologías para el ecodiseño y producción industrial sostenible, segura y eficiente en todos los eslabones de la cadena.

Este proyecto ha sido subvencionado por el CDTI con número de expediente MIG-20211010 a través de la convocatoria para el año 2021 del procedimiento de concesión de ayudas destinadas ayudas destinadas a Misiones Ciencia e Innovación, en el marco del Plan de Recuperación, Transformación y Resiliencia (financiado por fondos Next Generation EU, entre ellos el Mecanismo de Recuperación y Resiliencia) y del Programa Estatal para Catalizar la Innovación y el Liderazgo Empresarial del Plan Estatal de Investigación Científica, Técnica y de Innovación 2021-2023.
