What is a Ring Twisting Machine?
A ring twisting machine is used to twist two or more yarns together to create a stronger, more uniform final yarn. It delivers high-speed, high-precision results, making it ideal for sewing threads, technical textiles, and industrial yarns. Known for its durability and excellent yarn quality, it’s a key technology in modern textile production.
How it works
The ring twisting process involves several key components:
- Spindle – Rotates at high speed to apply twist to the yarns.
- Traveller – Moves along the ring and controls the amount of twist.
- Ring – A fixed circular guide that the traveller runs around.
- Bobbin – Collects the twisted yarn.
As the yarns pass through the spindle and traveller, the machine applies controlled twisting force while simultaneously winding the twisted yarn onto a bobbin.
