How it works

Twistechnology’s coating, drying, and winding systems operate as a fully integrated process line designed to treat technical yarns and tapes with precision and efficiency.

        1. Coating Stage
          The yarn or tape passes through a specially designed coating unit where various materials (e.g. thermoplastics, resins, hotmelts, solvent- or water-based coatings) are applied. This stage allows full customization of thickness, coverage, and functional properties depending on the end-use.

        2. Drying or Curing Stage
          After coating, the material enters a temperature-controlled drying or curing chamber. Here, moisture or solvents are efficiently evaporated, and the coating is stabilized, ensuring adhesion, flexibility, and mechanical strength.

        3. Winding Stage
          Once the material is coated and dried, it is wound with high precision using automatic tension control. The system ensures consistent winding quality and allows seamless integration into downstream processes such as twisting, weaving, or lamination.

All systems are engineered with real-time diagnostics, energy-efficient components, and modular configurations to adapt to different production requirements — from lab-scale testing to high-output industrial environments.
