TWISTGLASS is specifically designed to perform the first twisting process of fiberglass.
Its unique structure accommodates the special bobbins formed as the fiberglass exits the extruder, ensuring optimal handling and tension control from the very beginning of the production process. The machine’s design allows precise twisting of this delicate material, preparing it for further processing while maintaining yarn integrity.

How it works?

The TWISTGLASS machine is engineered to handle the first twisting stage of fiberglass yarns after extrusion. As the molten fiberglass exits the extruder, it forms special bobbins that require careful handling due to their temperature sensitivity and delicate structure.

TWISTGLASS is equipped with a customized frame and spindle layout to securely accommodate these bobbins. The twisting process is initiated with precise individual motor-driven spindles, allowing accurate control of tension, twist level, and speed—key to maintaining the integrity of ultra-fine fiberglass yarns.

An air-assisted ring lubrication system reduces friction and prevents fiber damage during high-speed operation. With advanced tension management and smart automation, TWISTGLASS ensures a smooth, efficient, and consistent first twist, preparing the yarn for subsequent reinforcement or coating stages.
